facelift?

hey i waz wonderin can u facelift the older model a3 with the split headligtht and indicator unit and put the newer single piece headlamps in ?????

You can but there is a little bit of bodywork needed IIRC as the lights are a slightly different shape (A friend did this on his A4 and I'm assuming the A3 is very similar! I was even thinking of doing this myself at some point on mine.)

The connectors are also slighty different but this is easily fixed by cutting off the wires and attaching these to the newer size plug. (It is something like 5 pins instead of 4 as the indicator is now included in the main one!)
