I am researching a BBK brake upgrade for my FN2R Civic and found this article about the best / correct way to bed in brake pads.
While it is the way I have always carried out bedding pads in this way I didn't know about the transfer of pad material onto the disc surface so an "old dog" like me can learn something new

FYI when I return to the pits after a track session I DO NOT apply the hand brake as that will create a hot spot that can also lead to warped rotors plus I also push the car back a little way several times to help spread the heat load around the disc as well
