Damper repairs?

Is it possible to get dampers repaired? Mr2 has a leaking damper, their Potenza street & their really hard to come by.

I've asked around & everybody just says 'replace'.

I don't know where you are (your on screen profile isn't very helpfull) but you could ask John at Black Art Designs in Essex. He makes and services his own dampers (mine came from him) and I know he can repair and service other makes.

Update on damper repairs:

Spoke to Jon this morning. Yes, he can repair them, but it depends on whether it will be cost effective.

His website, www.blackartdesigns.co.uk, quotes from £65 each for a rebuild plus £10 if they need revalving, plus VAT of course.

Well, I suppose someone has to live there

That means you would have to factor in shipping costs, which starts to make any rebuild expensive.
