Have since been told by a Heat treatments Company that they now refuse to cyro brake discs due to some court decision in the USA .Will try to get more info .

My initial info is that the treatment works well/best when the temps are up but it takes a little longer to stop in a road driven car when the discs are cold.
The treatment is said to make the discs more stable ,last longer and reduce stresses that lead to cracking or warping.

It also smooths the surface of the metal reducing friction, not something you'd want on a brake disk really but I suppose it could be roughed up again.
