why does my engine revs drop slighty wen i turn my lights,radio on etc??? is this the start of an underlying problem maybe?? thanks all

You need a new battery.

cheers for that i hate anything electrical but will get a new one soon as,also do you know if i took the sound proofing mat/insulation off the underside of the bonet as its looking shabby would it cause any probs?? thanks

It could be the alternator. Check the voltage level with the engine running and see if it drops.

Your engine will be a lot louder without the sound deadening.
