I just know i'd end up going embarrasingly backwards on a wet road in the 2wd. I think i'd be much safer and better of with the 4wd.

i would have to agree with waynne, i like the added security of the awd porsche, and especially in the 997 porsche, the purity of drive isnt really lost, it still drives wonderfully, and the steering, while not as communicative, is still a joy on the twisties

Would love either but with virtual money then 4wd assurance would take preference, in the S specification of course :bigsmile:

i like the power of the s spec, but over all, the balance, and noise of the base spec, as well as its price, would sway me to go with it instead, but i would have the awd.
