Bloodhound supersonic car set for October trials

It's been fascinating to follow the build of this.It's more aircraft than car but there are so many requirements to keep it safe and stable at these speeds on land that they are really pushing the technological envelope.

It's so fast I doubt the driver skill comes into it - a human couldn't react quickly enough to fully control this monster. Whatever it takes though the driver will need nerves of steel.
