Are LHD cars much more dangerous

When you import cars with the driver on the opposite side to what is usual does this make the car more dangerous to drive?

I would actually argue that it is safer because the driver will be much more cautious and careful when it comes to overtaking and road placement that he would in a native car!

What are your thoughts on this debate?
 
Shouldn't be any more dangerous if the driver is sensible and takes account of the impeded vision.

I don't agree that it would be safer. If that's the case let's extrapolate to the point of silliness and delete the windows entirely.

That is very silly, you can't see through Linux so Deleting windows would just not work at all, is Apple OS-X opaque as well? ;)

Now put a large spike on the steering wheel and that would focus a drivers mind.
