How do you go about advertising your cars for sale?

Is there a tried and tested method for selling them?

I've noticed that most buyers ask for silly purchase prices and wonder why they get no takers from the usual online car sale sites!

If it's in good condition and a good price then you can't go wrong in my opinion.

Pays to be honest so when people do come they don't have too high an expectation. So when they do look over it they will see it is better than their initial first thoughts and end up paying the asking price or near to it..............hopefully.

A sign in the cars window works well for me. I have also used pistonheads and autotrader but you do have to get the pricing right. A good clean car with history should sell quite quickly.

Local papers are good for under £1500 in value cars! The free online sales sites can be good as well.
