Hi Guys.

as the title says, I have a 406 rapier 1.8 petrol, 2001.

i have 2 issues.

first, the 'breather' pipe from the air in take to the back of the head has split in several places, and I am struggling to find a replacement. i have tried to repair it but its brittle, and also full of cloudy oil :S but the rest of the oil is clean, as I'm assuming its going cloudy because of the cracks in it. anyone know where i can get one from?

Second issue might be caused by the above, but maybe not.
when cold, it splutters between 2 and 3k rpm for the first min or so of driving.
I have changed plugs & air filter, with no difference. any ideas what it may be?

After these issues, what is the simplest way to get a little more kick out of it without 'modification' ?

many thanx

is the breather pipe just stright or is there other take offs ?
silicone pipe or fuel line may do the trick if you cant get the standard part anymore

nothing in the local breakers

ill strip it all apart and see if garden hose will fit, as its pretty much the same diameter. bit of ducktape to finish it off :)
