Can anyone tell me if a superchip or bulldog chip will have any affect on the cars performance or is it just a waste of money?

It will have an effect but how much of an effect depends on what other mods you have on the car. A chip would be best left till last. First up is the air filter. Now you can either go for an aftermarket panel filter or a full induction kit. If you go the induction kit route remember to get some piping for a cold air feed. Next is the exhaust. For better power gains you want to be looking at a full system including replacing the standard manifold. Cams are a good choice for more upgrades as well as the fuelling. Depending on your budget that is. But a Chip or a remap would be best left till last.

I have put the K&N cold air intake in, no new exhaust yet... so your saying the chip would make no difference at this point in time?
