2000 W beetle 2.0 ltr

Just got this car, only 70k genuine and in good condition.
Looked on various sites and tuning kit for this model seems scarce. I quite like the look of the car (and I'm not a hairdresser) what can I do to give it a bit of a performance boost and improve the look from bog standard?

have you thought about swapping the engine? ( dont think i mentioned this in there )

Hi there noggyn and welcome to TorqueCars.

I'd get some suspension upgrades for this and improve the handling. Uprate the brakes, a set of porsche disks and calipers would do the trick there

Next up induction kit, sports cam and sports exhaust to get the max from the engine. I'm guessing it's not a turbo, if so a remap should be the top of your list.
