Hello there off-roaders, I have a 96 2.5l jeep cherokee classic, I installed a spacer and K&N boxed air filter I got good low end power with those. I could not find a cone filter for this engine (to gain more horsepower), is this becuase the car cannot take such airflow? Can I do anything more, other than replacing it, to get more power out of it?

Samir a jeep and an A4 you will be busy. The 2.5 engines are not popular which is why you couldn't find a filter. There are some one size fits all that you could get - its just a question of fitting the right size adapter ring to the air intake. I doubt you'll get much more power from a cone anyway but they do make a fantastic noise on the 2.5 Jeeps!

Get the head gas flowed and ported, fit some fast road cams and a fuel boost valve and you will have a nice hike in power.
