I am selling my 66 1300 Bug for genuine reasons. I bought her around 6 months ago but due to a pregnancy arising and a house purchase i now have to get a more sensible car. I have done the following since purchasing it:

New Alternator fitted (still have dynamo which will be included)
Brake system overhauled changing brake pistons, shoes etc so it stops very efficiently!
I purcased a cheap cd player (not fitted but inc. in sale)
I purchased BRM 5 spokes (look brilliant) and also still have steel wheels. brms are 4.5 front and 5.5 rear.

Alternator and brakes carried out by VW specialist

the car has had dropped spindles fitted by the previous owner. the paintwork is tatty but adds to the character. the bug is absolutely solid. There is little bits of surface rust in the rain channels where the paint is cracked and also a patch of rust at the end of the rain channel on the passengers side at the rear.

I am gutted i have to sell as i wanted to restore it. the tax (free) and MOT is due up in 13th February. will need heat exchangers replacing. heater channels are solid.

i have a few other bits and bobs in the garage which i will include in sale but will have a look and list what they are when i have a gander tomorrow.

i am looking for £3200 with the (all 4 not just the 2 in the pic!) BRM wheels, and £3000 without. i have spent alot more than this on buying the car and parts etc over the past 6 months but am welcome to sensible offers. happy to answer any questions.
