Hi, i was reading about fuel injection, and then i saw this picture of a fuel system:

If you scroll down a bit you'll see it.

i got a nissan S14a, bought it about a mounth ago. So i don't know to much about it, but my question is, does my fuel system look like that?
for some reason i tought there where 2 fuel pumps? am i correct?

I always go with one simple logic with fuel fumps.

If you have 1 and it breaks, engine cuts out
If you have 2 fuel pumps and 1 breaks, you might lean out, engine go pop

I run a 255l/ph pump. My tank is only 65 litres, and takes me an hour or so to empty on track. 1 pump is fine in my book. You can get up to 400 l/ph pumps !

If you have a n s14 you are unlikely to be running more bhp than Moff or myself and we both have RB moTors with one pump
A single pump in these nissans can support 600+ without any problem

Another stupid question, can you install too big a fuel pump, say a 400lpH pump on a daily driver, and what would happen.

As Brian said. Controlled by FPR.

If you have a 1,000 litre per hour pump for a smart car which uses naff all, I'm sure you would warm the fuel though, which decreases BHP on its own.
