1.3 sidewalk

Hey, I've got the rover sidewalk special edition 1.3, its fun in the wet but verging on dangerous any ideas how to stick it to the road a bit better, I also need to know where to get some nice wider arches and wheel spacers?
Anyone know much about uprating to a yamaha R1 engine?

get descent rubber on the wheels, cheap tyres seem fine in the dry but worthless in the wet.

What size wheels do you have? Get some decent tyres as PG says, Goodyear Eagle F1's IMHO are pretty good.

Anti roll bar and some proper suspension tuning (camber,toe etc...). I'm guessing you have some lift off oversteer!

I have 12" at the moment, yeah i was looking at yokohomas the other day, and as far as suspesnsion goes andy ideas?

Get yourself a set of minilites if you haven't got them already - they look so good on the mini!

Suspension wise perhaps just go for a decent set of adjustable shocks. Koni, Bilstein and even Spax are worth looking into.

If it is understeering then play around with the toe and camber a little, it should give a better and sharper turn in but if you go too far you will increase wear on your tyres on the outer edge.
