0-60 in 1.9 seconds, seriously and it's battery powered!

The new Tesla roadster is announced with a 600+ mile range and a 0-60 time of under 2 seconds.



These are headline grabbing figures and make it a tempting buy but the £190,000 estimated uk price tag is a bit of a stumper for me!

If you are paying Ferrari or supercar money does the Tesla roadster make sense? Would you go for one? Will they lose 80% of their value in 3 years like some other electric cars (I hope so but seriously doubt it!)

Very impressive indeed. One day we could all be driving cars with this sort of performance. Well when I say we can drive, they will probably be autopilot systems but it would still be cool.
