You got SDi injectors etc fitted? If so, i am sure you will be very happy for a very long time, i know i am!!

Failing that, you could also get a ZR diesel, and once tuned, you'll be looking at 150bhp+ and 240+ftlb of torque.

What's your budget? Have you considered any other cars? What about a Rover 200 or Rover 400? Very underated cars, but they are actually fantastic value for money. The Rover 1.4 is 103bhp, making it the most powerful 1.4 in the class. Food for thought really. Cheers Dave

To be perfectly honest, i haven't heard so much crap being said about the ROVER K series engine in a long time. First, it is a ROVER engine 16Valve DOHC engine, NOT a Honda engine. NO Rover engine was VTEC, they used the VVC on the top of the range 1.8 engines, either 143bhp or 160bhp. A larger...

Buy the car for around a grand, and for less then another grand spend on mods, you'll be around the 150bhp mark, and a shed load of torque. Cheap gains really. Let me know if you need any help/advice. Cheers Dave

If you have about a grand, you can pick up a rover 25 or 45 with the latest diesel engine in it, and probably get better performance with relatively few mods. Cheers Dave
