well my car has a wing the wrong colour, crumples in the back quater panel, bare steel wheels and probably an MOT failure on the way. tax disk holder is the least of my worries atm :P

Bringing some variance to the thread here, cant beat a bit of good old thrash metal to get the foot down. or scare chavs driving past the local park. or old grannies at crossings. or pretty much anyone anywhere now i think about it :)

depends on how fast im going. if im going through town or near houses i turn it down a notch, but going down the bypass/motorway its usually maxed out. Or if i'm showing off :D

I actualy have one of them, but they detecte ALL lasers, including the ones in shop scanners. so you drive down the road and it beeps. "hmm is there a police van or a large tesco around this corner?" having said that they work quite well on the motorway :D

got some crappy one that came with my insurance company. does the job.

pretty much. bodykit and alloys. thats it. and it adds like £2000 to the insurance. the mods dont cost even half that!

my current insurer wont insure any of the mods i want, and there arent even any performance mods involved! but every other insurance company i tried are extortionate.

i'm all for carbon fibre panels, they can look pretty awesome, what i'm not a fan of is painting panels to look like carbon fibre. I saw a corsa the other day (ridiculous with carbon fibre anyway) that had its bonnet painted to look like carbon fibre. awful yet hilarious :)

does anyone know where I can find the best insurance quotes for modified cars? i'm looking to modify my car but the insurance quotes are making it difficult :sad2:
