First mod was to fill it up with 5 star instead of 2 star. Then second one was to attache the front wing of an Austin A40 back on with fibre glass resin and a KitKat wrapper as no fibre glass at the time, and it passed an mot like that. Well it was back in the mid 70's !!!

Well I think it is a load of cobblers. You cant tell me exactly how much fuel is 'half a tank' as you could be out by a litre quite easily, so that in it's self can give more or less mileage depending on whether you over or under estimate what is half full.

I have a 3 point one fitted to the drivers side and the rear part is attached to an inertia type unit that bolts to an anchorage point, best of both worlds in my opinion.

Easy way is to connect a FUSED wire to any ign feed fuse,that will carry the current, then run said wire to one connector on back of push button switch.Then run another wire , from other switch terminal, to rear of starter and remove the wire at the back of solenoid (comes from ign barrel) and...

Ta. Just used it to work out if fitting a 1600 crank into a 1500 would increase overall size much. Takes the 1585 up to 1677 if bored to same size as 1500 block, ( bigger bore/shorter crank throw)

Re-tuning your ECU will have NO effect on compression, thats down to your pistons. If you mean the turbo pressure, then wind out yhe bar on the wastegate abit.

Get yourself onto the extremly helpful 'Peugot 405 O C ' site and ask there, sure Citreon are the same.Can't remember but I think its something to do with locking/unlocking the door so many times whilst holding key for so many secs on unlock......................................or sommat like...
