Astra 2002 1.6 CDE ecu mapping

A faulty airflow sensor can definintely affect your fuel economy. You can test it with a multimeter if you have one. Connect the multimeter to the sensor and check the reading at idle, increase the revs and you should see the multimeter reading increase proportionally to the increase in revs...

Astra 2002 1.6 CDE ecu mapping

Well start with an end power goal in mind. Decide how much power you want (already mentioned you want more than 100kw) and whether it is realistic for the 1600 engine without forced induction. There is a guy I know that has an x16xe with suzuki GSXR throttle bodies that is making 140kw and it...

New girl here! Clio Mk2 1.2

Hi welcome! Hope you enjoy the forum.:D I would focus more on styling mods than peformance mods with the clio. A 1.2 is not likely to see much power gains for the cash spent on the engine. A good set of alloys, sports exhaust for some engine sound, lowered suspension and a 35% tint would...

Astra 2002 1.6 CDE ecu mapping

I agree with the other replies. These motors dont breathe very well, so it would be wise to first start there. How much power are you looking at getting? How deep are your pockets?

    Ever had a blow out

I had a blow out about 2 weeks back. A friend and I was driving back to his place the evening on a terrible piece of road and as we were talking and joking in the car I hit a really deep pothole. Heard a "thump" sound and carried on driving. Thinking in the back of my mind that I would check it...

When increasing the power and torque to those figures is it only the standard clutch that will give problems? Or are there other parts to keep in mind as well?

Astra H 1.9 CDTI SRI 150 Remap advice

Any update on this? Im considering doing the same. A local tuning company down here managed 140kw and 380nm (not sure what that is in hp or ft/lbs) on a stock z19dth engine, a 27% increase in power and 18.75% increase in torque. Celtic tuning have beat that. Dont have figures for that...
