    BlueCruiser's '97 Bluebird project.

it says to leave the final coat to dry for 3 hours as this allows it to completly dry and set ready for the clear coat. so i decided to do all coats like that. it sounds a long time 32 hours but most of this time was inbetween coats which was speant doing other stuff.

    BlueCruiser's '97 Bluebird project.

yeah 32 hours was leaving 3 hours for each coat to dry as i've found this leaves a finer finish. ok pics of the rest of the car up tomorro when the suns out.

When did you last wash your car

sounds good! i guess it wouldnt get as dirty in winter as it does in summer, as in summer everything dries out and the dirt and stuff will stick to the car. as in winter the stuff will get mostly washed off from all the rain. altho first fine day in winter would be a good time to wash the car...

thats right haha. how would a ten year old know how to wash and wax a car? theyll just wash and rinse then say theyve finished. to me, im the only one to clean my car cause i know how i like it done. everyone has their own process for cleaning their car.:cheesy:

Modifying your car? Please think carefully about what you're doing

in new zealand, if a cop finds something wrong with your car the will put either a pink or green sticker on ur windscreen, pink is for a dangerous modification (worst one ive seen is a screamer pipe sticking out of the bonnet) and green is for something less serious like in adequate...

Idea for modding rear light clusters

    How to choose a bodykit

i prefer aftermarket kits to the stock ones, as im wanting my car to look different. going to debadge and make a custom front grill, then add a kit (using something to put in the seams of where the kit joins to the body and paint over it so it looks all 1 piece) want people to ask 'what sort of...

    favourite color for cars

i'm thinking of sanding, priming, painting and clear coating my car in a baby blue colour. going to have white rims and white interior trim. im just very hesitant about painting it myself.. as it could all turn to custard and look really bad. but since i cant exactly afford the massive amount of...

    Stretched tyres

they look good for shows, and the drift cars use them on the back (you can buy manufactured stretched tyres here in new zealand) the manufactured ones have the stretch look, but with a proper fit and abit more of a sidewall. but if you just get a standard tyre and stretch it then you can run...
