i would say 12s are very standard and it realy depends on what you want ... if your like me u want a lot of big tight bass then yea 12s wud b good buh ive seen it myself with freinds of myn 12sd decent 12s like jbls and vibe subs all failing to keep up ... its all about speaker selection as some...

thats what i thought but size matters my friend bigger is better and i get were ur coming from but its not as bad as you would imagine i had 2 decent 12s and my currents 15s are beter than them and the bass is as tight if not tighter than the 12s thats what i think.

to much air my ferind way to much air its like y u have turbo deisel injectors more pressure less space .. the more air u move fast the deeper the bass so if u have to much air to move u sounds has distortion... subs rely on back pressure from the air being moved not only from the front buh also...

In my opnion dont do it itsl just mess up your sub as it wont have enuf space and air pressure to cool the motor and magnet and cud cause overheating and premature burn out

with the bass its a personal thing .. most novice systems out there are very cheap and thr bass is muddy and distorted .. the trick is to get tight bass that dosnt distort and matches the system as a whole ... personaly i got ridiculous bass buh thats only cuz im still a youngster lol ...

Stay away from them they burn out pretty fast and very overrated on their power avoid please

if i was you id go for hifonics brtus subs i got 2 15s in my car and they rock like anything great price aswell

always check your ground and power wire it normaly helps to cut the end of the poer wire of at the abtery and re expose a new bit of the wire a cleaner connection
