im thinking of getting a civic 1.6 vtec and making it a track car stripped out grippy rubber suspension and a few engine mods and hopefully embarass more expensive machines. you can pick up the civics relatively cheap nw are they good cars to be looking at for track fun or is there anything else...

i have got a strut brace across the rear of my car but i cant tighten the bolts enough becasue the top spins aswel but i cant grip the top and tighten now because the strut blocks the way please help!! do i ahve to cut a hole in the chassis just to get to the bottom nut?????

are these good cars?? i have been looking at them as a second car and for the performance they dont seem to bad but like saxos can they be a bit dodgy? im studying for my nvq3 in mechanics next year so if c2 turn out to be a bit bad reliablitly wise would i be able to deal with it?? thankyou

will the induction kit effect the air mass meter?

if i put an induction kit and decat pipe on my corsa will it ruin any sensors? mite put them on just for a bit of fun :) and see if the perfomance changes its a start at least :) thanks

jus looked at 1.8 and 2 litre focus's they are nice but alot have got high mileage and they are quite pricey for a low mileage model :(

2 litre non turbo is a group 9 right? same as corsa 1.8 sri i think. join the vauxhall owners club and adrian flux insurers discount :)

yeah looked at the old fest zetec s but my mate had a fest and the rear arches are rusting on them even on the newer 2002 models. costs bout 200 quid to get the redone aswel so wasnt keen on tht. herb- am wanting to spend 2500 ish on the car and then insurance on top of tht

nah i kept the corsa standard decided theres not guna be many gains in performance until u spend quite alot. have nearly got 1 years no claims and am thinking of getting a new car but i dont know what i cn have to keep insurance down??? :(
