Hello folks and greetings from North Wales.
I have a Renault espace mk2 1994 2.1td, I am going to change it to petrol to enable me to to run on lpg, I have been thinking about acquiring a 2.0 j7r type petrol engine as this (I hope) would mate up to the existing 5 speed box, as I'm going to have the engine out of the car, I thought it would be a good idea to "pep it up" a bit, obviously I can send the head off to get skimmed and polished etc by a specialist, what other mods are available to me as a DIY project, I would be looking for at least 150 bhp. I absolutely love this car as it suits all my requirements and it is mint underneath so as I have no intention of selling it I'm not bothered about the value etc. Anybody else tuned up the 2.0 j7r?, cheers, Andy
