Removing diesel and oil stains from a drive

Any tips on removing diesel spills and oil stains from a driveway?

Thankfully there are only a few spots of black engine oil, but there is quite a bit of diesel on the drive and it's stained the concrete.

Try your local garden centre - there's all sorts of proprietary products out there designed to clean oil stains.

Does your car not have an engine undertray?

On my friends drive I used methyl ethyl ketone it removed the main surface oil buy some remained within the pores of the blocks.
Word of caution if you do decide to use MEK use a respirator this stuff is hazardous!

I just bought some as I have tried everything to get mine out.

The wife still gives me dirty looks over it ha ha
