my car was missing the last 2 weeks (demented)
it got the bushes last week and the timing belt this week, but shes sweet now, you cant hear the thing ticking over, and the cornering is something else

i did get a set of rims and they suit the car, but im selling them
everone i talk to says that il regret putting them on the car
especially since its lowered

i can understand them as i had 17s on my coupe before and there is no comfort in them

they do look nice and handeling of the car is improved
but mate, if you were ever in ireland or plan to come here, you'll understand me when i say, the roads are brutal

ive been over to liverfool a few times and the roads ye have over are something else, if we had them rds over here, i would put 17s on, but we dont, so im only looking for trouble with them on

trying to find some info on swapping engine from my 97 civic 1.5ls, got a chance of an engine from mates damaged 99 civic vti, any info would be appreciated

well good news on the power, my injectors were blocked
a bit of spectrum d sorted that
the blow noise was my back box riddled with pinholes, funny how it travlled all the way out my engiene bay though
anyway, i have 1 more noise now and its either a power steering pump or the pully for the air con

the noise is not there in the morning = cold, but when it heats up its there
when i turn the wheel in stopped traffic, the noise changes as if its the power steering pump, but got 2 fellas to have a look at it and they rekon its the a/c pulley making noise

now my a/c is never used and dosent have gas in it either, plus theres a vibration coming through the a/c pipes so they rekon get a smaller belt and bypass the a/c pulley
they said its a cheap way to find out if its that

so im not upset or paronoid anymore, if its either of them i dont care as long as the engiene is ok which to be honest is perfect since i cleaned my injectors
il just wait for that problem to go BANG and fix it then

had the same thing done when i had mine

as for the prelude
ive put a new thread up about loss of power,and today have another problem
theres a noise coming from the engiene,

its like a blow noise,the same as when an exhaust has a hole in it
had a mechanic(mate) call round for a look
he reckons i have a blow in the exhast manifold or somewhere around the engiene ( hopefully says i)
i must call out to his work tomorrow and he'll put it on ramp, even fix it there and then (thats if its what we think it is)

ive never got a blow in an exaust like this before, so i dont know if thats the problem
he also said, thats why you could have lost power in the 1st place

anyway, before this message turns into a book, il let you know tomorrow what it was

hey prince been told to come to u about this q. can i put a 1.6 vtec head on my 1.5 vtec coz my valve seals r gone and thought maybe this wud increase its performance aswwell?

hi prince,ive done what you posted about the pics and i got one up[s2000]this was a screensaver i used,but when i try to upload pics from my documents,[pics i took myself]its coming up that the dimensions are too big.is there a way to sort this out,or am i still doing somthing wrong????thanks for your help on this,im really new to this comp.ps when i do figure it all out,il become a hacker and all your debts will be gone,ha ha also if i go to manage attachments and try uploading it from there,it comes up that i have exceeded my quota by 64.8 kb?????
