About My car
- Current Car
- Audi B5 2.8q
- Current Cars Modifications.
- Bought my 1999 A4 Quattro in March 08. 74k on the clock and well serviced too.
Had plans to tweek and tinker, nothing major. Was looking more at improving fuel efficiency.
Started with a rolling road. Book states 193bhp@6300. Came back with 203@6300 maxed out at 210. Guess with the mileage it has compressed up a bit. Though a lot can be said for RR's. This is only flywheel though as the quattro drive system eats up about 40-50 before your wheels start turning. Lambda working perfectly.
Replaced spark plugs and leads with Splitfire twin cores. Fitted an Ecotec valve and muffler. Installed a non oiled pipercross panel filter and swiss cheesed the airbox for better air flow (and noise. GRIN).
Fitted a full custom exhaust from downpipes. inc: Flexi's, 2 hi-flow sports Cats, and into one T304s/s system with regulation boxes. twin round tails.
Am toying with the idea of a remap. As the air flow and spark heat has been greatly improved over std the current ecu probably isn't using it to it's fullest eff
