- Lucky me. I was given a 1987 300 zx just for hauling it away. The car has been in storage since 1998. It is a z31 and is a two seater, naturally aspirated, 5 speed. 196,000 miles.
The transmission has something broken in the shifter rods and with this many miles on it I'm going to rebuild the engine as well. As long as the engine is apart it would be easy to add some juice to it. I just haven't had very much experience with these cars and would like some helpful education. - About
- I worked my way through college as a mechanic on MGs, Austin Healys, and Jaguars at a dealer. I raced Chevies in the late '60's and early '70's.
