As you are over 10 posts it can only be the size of the images preventing them from uploading. If you email them to yourself via outlook you will be asked "do you want to make the pictures smaller. If you answer yes it will shrink the images for you - it is easier than messing around with photoshop or similar. I'll also try and increase the uplaod filesize limit.
The other thing is that it could be a time out - if you have a slow connection and take longer than 30 seconds to upload.
The Profile Gallery is easier to upload into rather than the quick upload.
