i had the same problem i read on the internet that it is caused by crap supermarket fuel so you have to either fill it up with bp premium fuel and drive it for a bit or if you get the car moving in second gear and put your foot down to build up your revs to about 4000 rpm and turn your engine...

sounds like ur immobiliser to me mate. if it not had charge for a long time i think you might need to get it reset

i fitted the induction kit and whilst i was removing the standard air box from under the car there was a round plastic ball thing with two small tubes going into it. the ball was joined to the bottom airbox under the car but from what i can see there is nothing inside the ball so i dont know...

cheers mate i checked this morning and it does look like the maf manifold is mounted before where the kit will be. what is the point of the breather hoses. can they be capped off or do they need filters on them

i have bought a BMC CDA induction kit but im not sure what to do with the MAF sensor when i fit it. do i have to buy a special housing for it or can i somehow remove the housing off the original airbox or do i have to drill a hole in the air pipe?

i went for the denso irridium power spark plugs for my 180 are they any good or have i wasted my money?
