- Hey AutoCustomEng,
Im relatively new on Torquecars but its a really cool place to be and i can't seem to stop reading articles, checking out pics, etc..
anywyz I drive a 2008 Audi A6 S-line 3.2 FSI V6 (C6, 4F), and I really want to gain more power. More than anything!
Anything on the lines of forced induction kits, sports exhaust systems, supercharger,....etc
Let me know what you think I should do or if you could advise me in any way
thanks
Wah - no i didnt think that it went through the ecu. dont tell me thats the problem cause the old car got towed however do still have the key but its an old key. i dunno if theres a chip.
- 20-10-2008 03:37 PM - permalinkAutoCustomEngSam did u change the immobilser system?
- yes it wont start it turns over on the key but wont fire. i took the engine out of a 320i and put it into a 318is chassis everything linked up perfectly and the engine was running in the last car. obviously i took the wiring and ecu when i did the swap but i think there are differnt relays in the fuse box where that big plug connects engine and ecu to car.
thanks
sam - hi somebody told me you really no your #!#!#!#! with bemers. so mabye you can help me ive put a 2.0 lt engine in a 1.8 but the wiring is slighty different. do you know anything about this i think i need the ecu diagram. mabye its easier than that? sam if you have any info my email is slaughty@Hotmail.co.uk
- 08-10-2008 10:49 AM - permalinkspitbarnattA solid two door MK1. As complete as possible without engine or box so I can sling the engine in and get it running then just uprate everything as it brakes!
- 08-10-2008 07:50 AM - permalinkAutoCustomEngIf your running on a strip i wuld say yes mate, Just check the first mate see how they are, think it is out quite a late model so the uprate the shells in them, Only done low mileage s thought they will be fine,
So what exact shell are you looking for mate? - 07-10-2008 01:27 PM - permalinkspitbarnattBad enough, someone will prob save it though. I need a half decent shell with no engine or box. I've still got to mod the bulkhead and trans tunnel on whatever I get. In the meantime I'll sort the engine out. Do you think it's worth replacing the big-end bearings or had this already had the mod done?
- 07-10-2008 08:39 AM - permalinkAutoCustomEngHi mate,
How bad is bad? I am sure i can help search for another shell, Remember if you need some work done to the shell etc let me know mate
Thanks
P.S Just bought a Bridgeport Mill, Amazing bit of kit !!! - 06-10-2008 02:22 PM - permalinkspitbarnattI got the shell up on the spit today and it looks worse than first thought. Not sure whether I'll continue with that shell or try and find a better one, it will need to be solid with that amount of power going through it!
