The RB26DETT engine is a race derived 2.6l straight six 24valve twin cam and twin turbo built so that Nissan dominated the JTTC in the early nineties. They won the championship 2 years running undefeated and the V-Spec was brought out to celebrate this fact with its sophisticated Atessa-Pro 4wd system.
The RB26 is regarded as one of the most tunable engines with many owners achieving 600 - 800hp and some have gone much further! The GTR still holds the record for the fastest AWD drag car.
