LHD - Recent Service - The F430 Scuderia was unveiled by Ferrari in July 2007 and was the most potent road-legal version of the model produced by the factory. A gap had been left since the 360 Challenge Stradale production ended in 2005, and this model filled it being like its predecessor, lighter, more powerful, rawer and technologically more advanced than its standard sibling. Thanks to a high compression motor with re-mapped engine management and a sports exhaust, output was up from 483 to 510bhp, this being developed at an unchanged 8500rpm. The F1 transmission also came in for some attention, F430 Scuderia's using Ferrari's latest generation 'Superfast' software that reduced gear change time to just 60 milliseconds. Other important...

Well, I am going to "take the plunge" and put up for sale my Supra. I'll get the numbers out of the way first then the description: Mileage approaching 102k (a few more will be added depending on when she sells, but I am keeping driving to the minimum necessary) Year 1994 Asking price £18k - after much searching around what is currently offered and what seems to be selling. There are a few for sale with higher mileage than mine (lots higher) with asking prices of above £20k, but my gut feel tells me that £18k is a fair place to start. Anyway, discuss it with me :) I've uploaded some photos but not yet worked out how to get them on this post, but hopefully by the time I post this some photos will be visible. I've lost all my text...
RHD - Manual - During the late 1960's came the first baby Ferrari in a long line of illustrious entry level models, the mid engined Dino. Evolving into the V8-engined 308 by 1975, 328's and 348's continued the baby Ferrari's reputation for pretty design and spirited performance. F355's were the fifth incarnations and from May 1994, offered as either a fixed head Berlinetta or targa-topped GTS. These were joined by a Spider 12 months later while from 1997. The F355's task was to be faster and easier to handle on the limit, the latter having been a regular bone of contention with 348 road testers. There was a new electronic damper control system that fed information on road speed, brake pressure, suspension loadings and steering into a...
Just 1,840 kms - Classiche Cert. - Ferrari unveiled in September 2000 a highly exclusive limited edition 550. The "550 Barchetta" was to be built to celebrate Pininfarina's 70th Anniversary. Just 448 units were produced and all were pre sold to VIP Ferrari preferred clients. Apart from some supplementary bracing, the Barchetta's high tensile welded tubular steel chassis was much the same as the Berlinetta. Weight was practically unchanged too and meant performance would be on a par with the closed car, a 0-60 remaining at just 4.3 seconds. It was the bodywork that inevitably saw the most radical alterations in the transition to Barchetta configuration, Pininfarina removing all evidence of a roof and cutting the windscreen down by 100mm...
LHD - HGTC Package - The Ferrari 575 Superamerica was designed by Pininfarina as an exclusive low volume V12 Ferrari berlinetta featuring a highly original, innovative take on the convertible concept. The Superamerica was the first production car to adopt an innovative rotating roof movement in combination with electrochromic technology developed exclusively for glass surfaces of these dimensions, with Saint Gobain. The Fioravanti-patented rotating roof concept allows the Superamerica driver to electrically drop the top in 10 seconds flat, making it the world's fastest convertible berlinetta (201 MPH top speed). The Superamerica's unusual electric roof was dubbed Revocromico to highlight the unique combination of its rearward rotation...
RHD - Superb Specification - The 458 Spider was premiered at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show and is the convertible variant of the 458 Italia. It features an aluminium retractable hardtop which, according to Ferrari, weighs 25 kilograms less than a soft roof such as the one found on the Ferrari F430 Spider. This was the first Ferrari to feature a solid roof such as this and it can be opened in just 14 seconds giving the best of both worlds. The engine cover was redesigned to accommodate the retractable roof system which was designed to be as light as physically possible. Remarkably the Spider has the same 0 – 60 mph time as the hard-top and a top speed of 199 mph. This UK RHD example was delivered new to Mr Jamie Kennell located in...
LHD - Just 7,900 Miles From New - The third instalment of the Black Series from Mercedes own in house tuning department, AMG came in form of the SL65 AMG Black Series. The first came in 2006, with the less than impressive SLK55. Mercedes upped their game with the second Black Series based on the 2007 CLK which quickly established itself as a monster on the roads. Mercedes stepped up a gear again when making the SL65 and it was there most immense creation yet. The two previous Black Series were both established on coupe models, so in true Black Series fashion the heavy folding metal roof of the standard SL65 was discarded with a new fixed carbon fibre item in its place, adding to an overall weight saving of 250kg. The 6.0 Litre V12...

RHD - Coupe - Unveiled at the 2007 Geneva Auto show, Bentley launched the second instalment of the Brooklands, which they intended to limit to just 550 examples. The coupe model was a fixed head version of the acclaimed Azure and features a stunning two door pillarless body. In traditional Bentley fashion, the marque employed the finest coach building techniques, particularly seen inside the cabin.Power came from a 6 ¾ Litre V8 engine benefited by twin turbochargers and capable of producing 530 bhp, making this not only a stunning and sleek Bentley, but a marvel of performance even by today's standards. This RHD example was delivered new to the United Kingdom and was first registered on the 17th July 2008. Specified in the stunning...

500 Miles - VAT Qualifying - The reference ''RS'' will quicken the pulse of Porsche connoisseurs. Models such as the legendary Carrera RS 2.7 of 1972 and the 1991 Type 964 911 RS were also sports cars that stood out on account of their extreme degree of manoeuvrability and handling, a tradition that is continued with the new 911 GT3 RS. In common with its predecessors, it provides a homologation model for use in a range of racing series. Porsche's legendary approach to constructing these highly specialised editions of the already capable 911 has always been to reduce weight, add power and sharpen cornering capability, to which the 991 GT3 RS has accomplished every element. This LHD GT3 RS was first delivered in August 2015 via Porsche...

The engine cover was redesigned to accommodate the retractable roof system. The Spider has the same 0–60 mph time as the hard-top and a top speed of 199 mph. This example has a spectacular, and extremely expensive, specification and was delivered in June 2104 by Dick Lovett in Swindon. It is finished in magnificent...

Unique "Paint to Sample" Glacial Blue - The term "8C" originates from Alfa Romeo models built during the 1930's adopting Vittorio Jano's highly acclaimed eight cylinder engine. Victories at the Targo Florio, Italian Grand Prox and the 24 Hours of Le Mans would cement the 8C into the history books as one of Alfa Romeo's greatest cars desired not only by racing folk, but also Europe's most discerning collectors. Almost one century later the 8C was born again, first unveiled at the 2003 Frankfurt Auto Show. Its design taking inspiration from the famous Alfa race cars from the 50's through 60's, it quickly captivated the car world. The V8 derived from Alfa's Italian cousins Ferrari, was equally as awe inspiring and in the 2011 issue of Evo...

RHD - UK Supplied - Launched during October 1981's Paris Salon, Ferrari's 512i BB most notably marked the arrival of fuel injection on Ferrari's Flat-12. Replacing the familiar Weber carbs (seen on almost every previous Ferrari model) fuel injection not only improved an engine's flexibility but made it much easier to maintain as well as prolonging the lifetime of the engine. The BBi remained in production for almost three years. A few minor detail changes were made to the bodywork with clear reflectors inserted into the front bumper and supplementary driving lights now exposed in the grille. There were also new wing mirrors. 1007 fuel injected Boxers were completed of which just 43 were right-hand drive UK variants making this the...

LHD - 2.4 Litre - The Fiat Dino was introduced at the Turin Motor Show in 1966 alongside the Dino Berlinetta GT (later to become known as the Ferrari Dino 206 GT). Sharing the same two litre, four cam, V6 engine as the Ferrari Dino, they would both later benefit from the racing pedigree of the Ferrari 246 Grand Prix engine. When Ferrari decided to race in Formula 2, adopting the new V6 engine designed by Enzo Ferraris son Dino, they experienced a problem that they could not build enough cars to satisfy the homologation rules, thus striking a deal with Fiat and creating a joint Dino venture. The Fiat Dino model was built as two models, the Pininfarina designed Spyder and Coupe, designed by Bertone. The Fiat Dino Coupe would seat four...

LHD - 1 Owner From New - The Ferrari 430 Scuderia 16M was built to celebrate Ferrari's victory in the 2008 Formula 1 World Championship and as a reminder of this, the car sports a special plaque on its rear grille commemorating Ferrari's 16th Constructor's World title. Production was limited to just 499 units which is underscored by the silver "limited series" plaque just above the air vents at the centre of the dashboard. Upgrades over the Ferrari F430 Spider, on which the Scuderia Spider is based, included 80 kg in weight savings due to the use of lightweight body trim materials, the stripping of excess interior weight, and a carbon-trimmed roll bar that emphasises the 16M racing pedigree. From a technical point of view, this car has...
RHD - Superb Condition - The 328 GTS model, together with the fixed roof 328 GTB, were the final developments of the normally aspirated transverse V8 engine 2-seat series. The 328 figures in the model title referred to the total cubic capacity of the engine, 3.2 litres, and 8 for the number of cylinders. The new model was introduced at the 1985 Frankfurt Salon alongside the Mondial 3.2 series. Essentially the new model was a revised and updated version of the 308, albeit with various changes to the 3-litre engine. Stylistically the 328 model stayed very true to its predecessor's iconic 70's silhouette. The most notable change being a small roof spoiler just aft of the driver. Subtle changes were also made to soften the wedge profile...

RHD - 2,200 Miles From New - The Ferrari 458 Speciale really needs no introduction, the already spectacular 458 platform benefitted from a huge host of benefits including increased power which equated to the most driver focussed and fastest Ferrari V8 ever produced at the time of its launch. The increased power meant the 458's Motor set a World Record for naturally aspirated output. The 458 Speciale's 605HP equates to 135hp/litre, an astonishing output. Perhaps not surprisingly, the 458 Speciale won the prestigious "2013 Supercar of the Year" award from Top Gear Magazine and 2014 Evo Magazine "Car of the Year". Autocar Magazine formed the following conclusion on testing the awe inspiring Speciale: "The mid-engined Ferrari supercar has...
RHD - Just 1,995 Miles - The 550 marked Ferrari's return to producing a front-V12 engined two-seat Berlinetta, a type of car they hadn't manufactured since the demise of the 365 GTB/4 Daytona in 1973. The 550 Maranello features a high tensile welded tubular steel chassis, a frame that featured an extremely rigid central cage and advanced underbody aerodynamics. Wider track at the front than rear improves turn-in while a variable damper control system affords the driver Normal and Sport suspension settings. Speed sensitive power steering varies the level of assistance accordingly. Lightweight components were used throughout the construction of an all-new 5.5-litre 65° V12, cast alloy being used for the cylinder block, four-valve heads...
LHD - Special Order Blu Corsa - The latest chapter in Ferrari's ongoing history of open top V8s heralds a new generation of 8-cylinder supercars that are fitted with turbochargers. Following the success of the 488 GTB, a car equipped with a number of improvements on its predecessor the 458, including a smaller displacement engine of 3.9 litres furnished with twin turbos and mounted lower down in the car. The new engine boasts an impressive and eye watering by only yesterday's standards 661 bhp accelerating the car from 0-60mph in just 3 seconds, and ultimately reaching a top speed of 203 mph. The 488 also has a new generation of the Slide Slip Control, which will carefully firm up or soften the dampers. The brakes are derived from the...
Recreation built to HTP Specification - The Cobra Roadster's success was none other than outstanding, however Enzo Ferrari would soon put a stop to it when the 250GTO began to compete. Using the same technique as Ferrari, the Cobra's new body was aerodynamically modernized and proved to be a masterpiece. On its first test in February, 1964 the Coupe knocked 3.5 seconds off the 289 Roadsters Riverside lap record. The Coupe went on to win its class at Le Mans in its debut year of racing, and looked certain to gain the GT World Championship, until a surprise cancellation of the final round at Monza conveniently handed Ferrari the overall win. In 1965 with Ferrari announcing their withdrawal from the GT racing scene, the Cobra Coupe swept...
