Default Wing Mirrors or Cameras?

Which would you prefer wing mirrors or cameras. A camera is quite small nowadays and can produce a good quality picture. LCD screens are also very cheap and you could easily get enhanced images like night vision mode. Do you think this idea will ever catch on? Just imagine you'll never have to repair a smashed mirror again.

Nope, you'll have to replace a small and very expensive camera or monitor instead. I'll kep my chrome bullet mirrors thanks. At £25 a pair you cant go wrong.

people may have problems on judging distances, the concept is cool though.

mercedes have the enhanced headlight projection so u look at the dash's monitor and u can see the road ahead much better.

my quarral is that u might aswel buy a playstation!

anyone agree?

One day our cars will do most of the driving for us. There are already some nify lane control and anti crash systems that brake and brake assist which brakes more heavily for you (I really can't see me ever trusting a computer though!)
