Default Walnut, Chrome or Carbon fibre dash

Which do you prefer? Walnut, Brushed Aluminium, Chrome or a Carbon Fibre finish on a dashboard?

I suppose it depends a lot on the car. My rover had Walnut and it looked good but the Audi would just be wrong with Walnut, I think I prefer carbon fibre.

I prefer carbon fibre, but it does depend on the car.

My Peugeot 406 had Walnut on the dsah and door caps front and back, exactly as does the 5 series. It's fake in both cases but looks nice all the same.

As for which I prefer I really think it depends on the car.

I do not like chrome though.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but are they wrapped? They look good either way though.

Cheers Prince, the glovebox trim and the auto gear knob is a vinyl wrap! ( they don't do it in the leather ) this was done by the main man Scott himself at Totally Dynamics in Enfield. The rest is a carbon fibre leather finish made by Hirsch of Sweden as will be the dashboard and steering wheel chrome trim.

I'll be interested to see how the finished interior looks as I'm looking for some inspiration for my BMW.

Thanks Geraint13, I had brushed aluminium everywhere before for about 4 years! thought it time for a change

The front spoiler, middle section of the front bumper, the side sills, and the rear spoiler will be genuine Carbon Fibre to be fitted in April when it is released for my model car!

No problem Prince it will be a pleasure! as soon as I get the work done i'll post some pics! I do have the name of a company that specialises in Carbon Fibre leather work here in the UK, I will dig it out and forward it to you! Totally Dynamics in Enfield are the absolute business in Carbon Fibre vinyl wrapping if you want to go that route!

Thanks mate! I think instead a vinyl I'm going to have a thin layer of actual carbon fibre put on top.

Looking forward to the finished product!
