ok guys .. i would like to know if 2f2f style spoilers r legal in the uk?

the reason i ask if because i know that most of the big aluminium and carbon spoilers r illigal in germany. and u need to get a permission to put a stupid sticker on ur ride. and i would like to know how r the rules in the uk for those kinda modifications ???

There are major proposals at foot in the UK to make car modification a lot harder. The first draft was considered far too strict - being cynical they propose really harsh legislation then water it down and we are all relieved and go with it and the law makers got what they wanted all along.

As far as I know as long as the spoiler does not project outside the dimensions of the car there is no problem. There is a sharp edges rule though which some spoilers may fall foul of.
