What is the point of putting screens in the boot of a car?

Thats for when your stuck in traffic. Its so the people behind don't miss emerdale. Thats the only reason I can think of anyway.

I guess they only work in shows really. If you put screens in your boot you are only out to impress as they serve no real practical value.
