Default painting tips please

hi guys im soon to by a show cage for my 106 . how would i go about painting it yellow. is it the same process as normal. sand back . primer grey/white then spray yellow and lacquer . or does it have to be sand blasted ???? its aluminium as far as i know. .

use zinc (etch primer ) on the bare metal 1st

As Pg says really. Just remember preperation is key when it comes to getting a quality finish.

ok kool cheers guys. out of interest do you know any where who sells show cages or can make custom show cages in the uk cos im not to keen on buying it off ebay . cheers

best to go for a weld in safety cage that's made of steel, there better than an ally (show) case
