[quote="waynne"]WOW - I had to buy a bigger screen to read that list. Are you going to cover the car with a parts list - it would save painting it?

So basically - not a lot of weight and loads of power then?

If you want to go FAST, then that is the only way to go.

Knife edged crank - The shaping is done on the crank webs, not the conrods. It, as you correctly say, reduces rotational mass and also improves the cranks path through the oil if you have a wet sump without a windage tray. Not critical but every little helps.

O-G, that's an impressive arsenal of Modifications. I'm guessing that it's more frequent use is on the track.

560bhp does sound nice though, should make overtaking on A roads a subliminal experience.

Hopefully not. The challenge is to make it "roadable". You spend so little time on the track that this is an awful amount of time and money spent just for a few minutes of fun each year.

Yes, it will make for an interesting drive However, it will look reasonably stock from the outside so will surprise an awful lot of people

All I have to do now is build it

What you need is an economy switch with 200 bhp on tap and a sport switch that kick in with all of the ponies!

Sadly this is a bit of a dream, but maybe if you had 2 engines fitted you switch between them!

Would you prefer the short or long answer?

Well, it was originally made in 1967, but it's more akin to Trigger's broom now

Damage it, repair it. EVERYTHING is available (for standard ones, at least).

You already have an economy switch - the pedal furthest to the right.
You already have a sport switch, it's called NOS

ps. For the pedants among you (me included) the use of the abbreviation/initialism/acronym NOS is a joke between Waynne and me - See earlier messages somewhere else on this forum for an explanation

I wondered what the pedal on the right does. The one in the middle doesn't seem to do much. I tried it whilst parked and nothing happened so I won't bother using it on the road.

You'll be telling me next there are more than 2 throttle positions (on and off!)

Pedants - on Torquecars? Surely not?
