Default Define good and bad styling

What sort of typical mods count as good or bad styling?

Is it subjective? Do certain mods always get flagged up as cool or tacky or are there degrees?

Hopefully we can help introduce some taste to the car styling community and see less monstrosities on our roads.

Perhaps it's down to the base car and not the mods? DTM wing on a BMW M5 = cool, DTM wing on a Corsa = tacky!??!?

What say you all then?

Cheap looks tacky. NO EXEPTIONS TO THIS. YGWYPF!

The quality of finish also has a lot to do with it. Saggy fibreglass kits and poor paint jobs just look really bad.

Wheels make a car, you can have a POS saxo stick some nice rims on it and it does not look too bad. You take the same car slightly pimped up and stick crap wheels on it the whole car looks like garbage.

But agreed some people go over board, a set of 20's on a clio is never a good look

I remember seeing a Renault 5 with 'Hub Cap Spinners' OMG what a mess, young girl driving it too, bright pink with pink fluffy steering wheel cover.......Wheres the barf bag
