Cool Custom re-upholstered dashboard.

The dashboard has been retrimmed in white leather and the plastics are replaced with a blue plastic. Add some white dials and you have a custom dashboard and instrument panel.

What do you think of this then? Is this your thing?

That's nice...The only thing wrong here would be that it might be a bit difficult to keep the leather clean

Hi JosephX3 and welcome to TorqueCars. Nice to have you along. Does your username iply you are an X3 owner?

Don't know about the cost - it was just a link from a site I found. I think it was done by xquisite automotive in Croyden but I am not sure of the details really.

Thanks guys for making me feel welcome. I own an Hyundai Accent x3 1.5 MVi.

I'm saving up some money to do the exterior and the interior that is why I asked how much bcos it looks really nice.

There is a technique know as flocking where your dash is covered with a finish that looks a bit like felt. It cost's about £90 per dash and less for smaller plastic parts but you need to dismantle the parts yourself first. I'll see if I can find an address or contact for you. Where abouts are you from?

This flocking stuff...is that what they put on the dashboards in rally cars in the WRC?
