Choosing tailored car mats

When you buy car mats I presume you like me prefer fully tailored ones rather than the off the shelf one fits all sort.

But do you go for your official car makers mats or do you look online for tailored car mats.

I have purchased the OE mat set as a rule as they tend to wear better. The Picasso had a full set and one piece rear mat, I carried them over to the next new one purchased. The Discovery as the OE rubber mat set and they fit very well and do a great job. The MG doesn't have any carpet let alone mats! I have found the cheaper tailored mats don't wear too well and curl up at the edges.
