Alloy Wheel Renovation

nothing is worse than curbed alloy wheels, and there are services to have them reconditioned to remove the dents and deep scratches.

but can we do this ourselves in the garden? what would you need? how would you start? has anyone attempted this before and did it work?

i told my mate to try sanding down the bits sticking up and then used some metal filler from halfords and then resprayed the wheel looked good, not sure if it would take unther kerbing without coming out but hey its a kerb lol

Sanding them down, using some metal filler and a re-spray does sound like something that would work well and fall within a tight budget. I'm sure it would require some skill and patient (which I lack).

i 4t it was pretty easy as i was the monkey helping. the only thing we found out you have to sand out every tiny mark otherwise it stands out on the finish.
