Default Windscreen wipers?

Do you have any preferences in wipers? Budget or brand names. Do you change the whole unit or just the blade? How long do wipers last? How frequently do you change them? Years ago I used to turn the rubbers to make them last longer - does anyone bother with this anymore?

Do you find the wind deflector blades work?

I ask a lot of questions sometimes don't I!

I found wipers skip across the screen at 70mph in the rain which is not a lot of use. I saw some Bosch wipers with integrated wind deflector so I think that is the one to go for.

The wind deflectors will help the skipping business. I always put one of these on drivers side and plain on passengers

i had the wind delfector ones from bosch on the civic and they keep the drivers sit clear. like hdi i didnt put one on the passengers as didnt see the point in spending the extra £££ for something that i dont need.

the "areo" ones on the bora and wifes golf are good as well and with them being smaller
