Is that a switchable remap? I'd like to hear your comments of the revo remap. (I [presume you mean 900bhp? )

Waynne, I'm not really all that nasty. And I do rely upon sarcasm to get me through. Blimey, I drive a diesel and even like it. That's quite sad really. In the big scheme of things.

TO be totally honest I'd rather dump the lively Pug, dump the Seat D thing and move me, wife and kids to a patch of land in the middle of nowhere.... operate a farm smallholding, do some private contract work and live off the land year in year out.

I;m not even that interested in biodiesel really.

hdi (Paul Anderson) has had enough and more of the crap that British living brings.

I was being sarcastic too Paul

I've got to agree with you there Paul. I'm all for going "back to basics". I've just bought a couple of fruit trees and we are going to start to grow our own food. I've not bought a ready meal for 3 years. We seem to spend too much time supporting a frustrating lifestyle in this modern rat race.

Yeah. I'll be getting the Select Switch too, its not cheap but frankly for the ability to turn it off/not worry when it goes in for its service, makes it all fun. The Select switch may have to wait a month (I cant fork out all that kind of money at once without screwing my living costs, haha)

Looking forward too it though.

I'll let you know how I get on with my 900bhp GT TDI Sport, hahaha

Enjoy the Corsa while you have it. I hope is a sporty one - but that is pretty unlikely knowing courtesy cars. Do start a new thread in VW and review your remap for us.

Corsa is funny. I guess I dont know I'm born tbh because the difference to the Golf in every respect is astonishing, at least with the low-powered Corsa I have for the day.

I feel like I'm sat atop a rocking horse, the cars got alot of body roll, and the seats feel quite high! But its a laugh, great of them to give me it for the day for free and it got me home so I cant complain!!

Cant wait for the Golf, cant wait!!!

Apparently it could be as late as 5:30pm :/

Never mind Izo. Sometimes low powered cars are fun because you can drive like a complete moron without actually going very fast.

You Golf will come back with a prepaid envelope addressed to Swansea and a direct debit form to pay the fines in the short intervening period before you send off your license.
