well after noticing that alot more manufacturers are using torx screws more often and the vag group use a triple square (xzn) bit i managed to source this bit of kit from amazon after alot of searching and personally think its a good price maybee usefull to a member on here http://www.amazon.co.uk/Draper-Exper...2710297&sr=1-1

yeah alot are using security bits as well its a pain when you want to do anything yourself
i discovered this the weekend mate i tried to undo the door lock bolts only to discover they are 8mm triple square bolts and the torx bits didnt fit properly then to search and find that snap-on want $6 + p&p just for the 1 8mm bit thats why i think this bit of kit is well worth the money
yeah i think my security torx bits were around £9 for the set and that was with me getting vat free.

Know what your on about now. thought they were spline sets. But going by the guide at the side you an see there a slight difference.
im guessing the spline bits will work but i dont have any of these either so i have ordered that set of amazon and as soon as they arrive i can get the door pannel off and see what needs replacing to get my window working again as i have tape holding my window up at the moment
