Default Trucker trying to kill me!

So there we were, me in my 106 and this guy in this new astra in front of me, and we come to 3 trucks in front of us, and a huge stretch of road with no cars on the other side.

So naturally, we start to overtake them, the astra gets past all three and im just coming alongside the third one, and a couple of cars come round the corner (that i swear just appeared from nowhere), and i realise i'm not gonna make it round the third one in time, or, if i would have it would've been a close one, so i back off a bit and indicate to come into the gap between the 2nd and third one (a gap way big enough for me to get into without causing any trouble)

So i start to move into the gap, and the 2nd trucker (the one behind) starts accelorating! He starts closing the gap, and closes it so much that i can't fit and i'm alongside him on the other side of the road, with other cars coming towards me!

I was forced to hit the brakes and get back in behind every one of the trucks.

After a while I overtook the first one and managed to get behind the second one again (the murdering one), and he starts throwing things out of his window! At first i didn't know it was him, i just kept hearing big bangs on my windshield (like stones on the road), but then i see a bottle fly out of his window!

He continued to throw things out of his window at me, until the dual-carriageway, where i overtook him, then he flashed the trucker in front, who then started moving right, as i was overtaking him! They were actually trying to kill me!

Luckily i made it and lived to tell the tale. I was trying to make out his number plate to report to his depot or something but it started with numbers and was all foreign and stuff, so i was confused haha.

So yeah that's my story. Who's asleep?

Thats really nasty. I bet other motorists have had a similar experience to you.

When getting the registration number of an Artic you Must always get the cab registration as the trailer often has different plates - especially if it is foreign and so many people fail to get an insurance claim through after the incident as they don't have the correct information and even if it is correct it takes so long to get a claim sorted out even within Europe many people give up.

I never profess to know anything let alone everything - the more you know the more you realise you don't know.

I did 14 years as an insurance broker Yawn - it's one of those things you pick up.

It was a punishment. Yes we got lots of outrageous claims, one guy would just fill in claim forms to give us a laugh he would submit one for us in the office and one to pass onto the insurers.

One Christmas a storm damaged his roof. The claim form he sent to us put the blame on Father Christmas driving his sled whilst drunk, and "nearly knocking over the chimney pots". He went on and on describing the Police arriving and breathalising Santa and taking him off and how he felt guilty that the kids wouldn't get their presents!

It was the most funny one we had. Another guy claimed for broken glasses which broke when he fell out of the window. We had cars 'stolen' and crashed into a tree on the only road between a pub and the clients house - the police knew he was drink driving but had no evidence although they wouldn't accept that the car had been stolen and threatened to do him for perverting the course of justice and wasting police time if he tried to submit a theft report.

Another guy left the keys in his £40,000 BMW at a petrol station and it got stolen so the insurers refused to pay out for it.

There are some others in jokes section that you will probably find amusing.
