The Alpha feature was pretty good, but the rest of the show was lacking a little bit. Still, for 1 hour, every sunday, from 8pm til 9pm I am glued to the tele! Even if Top Gear is bad...it's still good!!

aye, they are focusing too much on challanges an not on car reviews, altho the challenges are good, top gear is ment to be about car reviews, challenges and stupid stuff like parachuting into the back of a moving car. they have thought too much about keeping the ratings up then actually making a good car show, altho that said, its still good. but could be better with reviews aswell as challenging

The problem is its now getting hard to keep it fresh...they have to come up with new challenges, they need new cars constantly to review. Eventually it will become to samey...but saying that I love Top Gear...and if it's not broke don't fix it and all that.

I thought the Alfa Romeo feature was good but they treated those sub £1000 cars with utter contempt. Only May treated them with respect. I remember when I could only dream that I had £1000 to spend on a car.

My first car was £600 then the next 2 were £7-800!

The feature could have been shorter and not resulted in the destruction of 2.3 fine examples of Alfa Romeos.

Do we watch the show for the cars or the personalities - recently it seems to be the personalities? I know I would rather see the cars.

Why not let the "stars" reminisce a little more about cars and talk about driving anecdotes more.

Ceramic brakes got another mention - last week the RS6 with its £6000 brakes and now a Bentley with even more expensive brakes. When these cars are 14 years old they will be written off because of the cost of replacement brakes! Crazy TowN!

I still enjoy TopGear but I fear it is losing its way a little.
