Agreed, I cannot even get enough power to run my garden solar lights through the night on the day time charge

Well it's $10,000 for 12ft but i imagine costs will come down hugely. I remember my parents first computer cost then nearly a grand. It was only a basic slow big thing. Now look at the cost of computers with a billion times more power.

With the cost of metal these days I can't see the cost coming down much.

Especially if there is high grade copper cable involved! There is not a stretch of railtrack that's safe anywhere in the country from the cable cutting bandits at the moment
